Job Type: Full-time
Location: Huntsville, AL
Pay Rate: $22.00/hr. - 1st Shift, $23.00/hr. - 3rd Shift
Rotating schedule: 3-2-3 and every other weekend
Must be able to train on 1st shift
Must be available to work either shift at any time
Roles and Responsibilities:
Drying and oxidizing feeds for the ammonium par tungstate (APT) plant
Operating high temperature furnaces
Operating crushing and screening equipment
Operating hoists
Operating a pneumatic particle conveying system
Participating in the process improvement program
Performing other duties as assigned by Production Specialist, Supervisor, or Plant Manager
Observing all safety rules and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
Reporting all safety incidents, unsafe acts, and conditions
Adhering to all safety, environmental, and internal guidelines and policies
Qualifications & Skills:
PREVIOUS CHEMICAL EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED FOR CONSIDERATION
Ability to use both hands simultaneously for various physical tasks
Ability to work for long periods while standing
Good eye/hand coordination
