Urgent Industrial Machinery Dismantling Midlevel professional

We are looking for a skilled and reliable mid-level millwright worker to assist in dismantling paper mill equipment, specifically PM16. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with industrial machinery and a solid understanding of dismantling procedures, safety practices, and teamwork in large-scale industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the dismantling of PM16 paper mill equipment under the supervision of senior millwrights or project managers.

Assist in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and equipment manuals.

Operate tools, machinery, and rigging equipment required for dismantling and transporting equipment components.

Follow safety protocols and ensure the safe handling of heavy machinery and equipment.

Perform basic troubleshooting during dismantling and report any issues to senior staff.

Maintain organization and proper labeling of dismantled components for inventory purposes.

Work collaboratively with team members to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.

Conduct routine inspections of tools and equipment to ensure they are in safe working condition.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a millwright or similar role, with a focus on industrial machinery dismantling.

Basic knowledge of paper mill equipment or similar industrial machinery; experience with PM16 is a plus.

Familiarity with tools and equipment used in dismantling and rigging processes.

Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures.

Physical ability to work in demanding environments and lift heavy objects when necessary.

Willingness to learn and take direction from senior staff and project managers.

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in industrial mechanics or related fields is an advantage.

Employment Type: Contract or full-time (based on project requirements)

There are two shift Options:

Single Shift:

11 hours/day, 6 days/week

Monday to Saturday: 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Two Shifts (5 days/week):

- Shift 1: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

- Shift 2: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

- Saturday and Sunday off
