Description:
Pay: $25-$33/hr
Hours: 1st shift (6:00am-2:00pm) or 2nd shift (2:00pm-10:00pm)

Placement: Direct Hire, aka no contracts
Duties:
Perform MIG or Flux-core welding on heavy mining components.
Fitter Class Welders: need to be competent with large-scale open table setup, and ideally flux-core (1/16 or 3/32). Heavy plate experience is a plus!
Regular Class Welders : need to be experienced with hardwire MIG 045/052 or Flux 1/16 or 3/32! Also experience with heavy plate or fabrication is a plus.

Description:
Read and comprehend welding instructions and structural drawings
Verifies correct quantity and quality of parts welded
Layout stitch welds; locations of weld and weld size for welders
Work from drawings, patterns, fixtures and specifications
Layout and operate both fuel gas and plasma hand torches for fitting purposes
Move material using a forklift and crane according to standard operating procedure, safety regulations and practices
Assist with the welding of a Weldments
Perform cleaning, assembly, and straightening operations as directed by Supervision
May be required to perform the following welding processes: SMAW, GMAC, SAW & TIG
Ability to comply with all quality policies, specifications and instructions
