Risen Savior Lutheran Church is seeking a part-time Church secretary!
Monday thru Friday 10:00am-2:00pm

Responsibilities will include:
- Typing and printing of weekly bulletins, and special service bulletins
- Prepare the Church for weekend worship on Fridays.
- Maintain Church software (Shepherd Staff).
o Add or edit membership information
o Maintain Church schedule in Shepherd Staff and on website
o Maintain and edit attendance information (used for monthly reports for Council, Deacons, and pastor)
- Visitor lists for prior weekend and postcard for new visitors
- Weekly announcements – prepare announcements for email and printed copies for members without email
- Weekly worship service reminders, check altar flower chart – cancel flowers if needed
- Prepare Scripture for altar and email copy to lay readers and Children’s Message volunteer for current week
- Answer phone and direct calls as needed
- Sort mail and distribute as needed
- Gather all bills from (mail and email) and fill out expense vouchers and put in mail slot to be signed by council members.
- Monthly worship server schedule
- Monthly attendance/contribution reports in excel
- Print monthly bank statement for treasurer
- Send in payroll report to Payroll Express – 2 times per month
- Order office supplies, communion supplies as needed
- End of the year responsibilities include ordering of new offering envelopes and updating the contribution module
