Part-time administrative assistant to help with daily, weekly, and monthly tasks for independent (Medicare) insurance agent. The individual’s role is to help keep me organized and reduce my time spent completing necessary administrative duties. This position can be administrative alone, but it also offers a mentorship (training) program to individuals who would like to become licensed to sell health insurance. It can be a very lucrative job that you can do on your own time.
Hours can vary from 10-20 hours per week. This position is a 1099. $20 per hour and possible bonus for the right person
This position will offer the individual flexibility to work remotely on days and hours that work for them. Great for a stay at home mom. Individuals will need to step up hours during peak season from late September – to the first week of December. Commit to 2 set days a week (approx. 5-6 hours per day) Keeping me organized and preparing client appointments. More than anything, I would like to find someone committed to the job and making it a priority. The end of year bonus will reflect that.
General duties: very limited phone calls, closing out folders, updating spreadsheets, updating monthly newsletter, helping with (schedule) calendar. Updating CRM with Drs and medications. Individuals should be well versed with Microsoft Office products (word, excel, outlook, publisher) Should be able to work alone with little supervision.
During slow months, individuals can work on social media posts for FB, Google business page, and Linked In. They can also research businesses that they think will complement my client base. I am always looking to feature local businesses that help seniors in my newsletters. Example: I have posted past articles on moving companies that help people get rid of clutter, long-term care insurance, life insurance, book-keeping & taxes.
