We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic bartender to join the On Cloud Wine team! The ideal candidate will possess a deep knowledge of wines, including varietals, regions, and paring suggestions. Responsibilities include greeting and serving guests with exceptional hospitality, maintaining a clean and organized bar, managing inventory, and providing insightful recommendations to enhance the guest experience. Strong communication skills, a polished and professional demeanor, and a passion for wine are essential. On Cloud Wine
Extensive wine knowledge may be required – will also train.
Responsible for ordering, receiving, stocking, and maintaining par levels for the bar supplies and Inventories for ON Cloud Wine. (Food management will handle kitchen ordering)
Controls daily beverage and labor costs that meet or exceed goals set.
Enforces Wisconsin and Federal laws and regulations regarding Alcohol sales.
Lead will be expected to supervise bar staff, motivate, and train staff at management discretion.
Assisting with scheduling bartenders and servers
Confirms guests’ orders including any special needs or requests from server’s using the POS system, ensuring that all orders are accurately rung into the POS
Check completed orders with the guest’s original order
Process orders for all beverages
Perform cash handling, Credit Card transactions, and input into the POS system
Maintain and control secure storage for supplies and inventories
Serve guests with minimal delay and timey service
Providing guests with the BEST experience possible
Take pride in and maintaining an organized workspace (keep it neat and clean)
UP-sell Wine, food, beer, and any retail items
Handles any guest questions/complaints or issues in a professional manner
Follows security open and close procedures to safeguard cash and other assets
Qualifications for a Bartender
Must work with job aids such as safety cutters and cleaning chemicals
Must stand and walk for long periods of time
High school graduate or equivalent
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment providing courteous service and engaging the guests in conversation
Full Time Lead Position that requires full flexibility, ability to work evenings, weekends, varied schedule
Must display ability to work with POS system & sound system
Capability to interact with customers
Knowledge of Alcohol awareness and safety
