Job Description: As a Bakery Service Counter/Barista at The Bake Sale, you will be the face of our establishment, providing excellent customer service while crafting delicious beverages and serving freshly baked goods.
Your responsibilities will include:
Greeting customers with a friendly smile and assisting them with their orders.
Taking orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring each customer receives their desired items promptly.
Preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
Operating espresso machines and other equipment with precision and care.
Upselling bakery items and promoting seasonal specials to enhance the customer experience.
Maintaining cleanliness and organization at the service counter and beverage station.
Handling cash and card transactions accurately, following proper procedures.
Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive work environment.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in customer service or food service role preferred.
Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and espresso preparation is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
