Stoughton Health has an excellent employment opportunity for a Diet Clerk. The diet clerk is responsible for assisting patients in making menu choices that will be consistent with their diet orders/needs. This position staffs the room services call center and performs other office duties.
The diet clerk is primarily responsible for assisting patients with obtaining their meal selections, and noting patient comments, concerns, and intake. Interview patients who need assistance with food choices and desire meal timing. Information is solicited from the patient's family or nursing staff for patients who are unable to.
High School Graduate or Equivalent. Prior experience in food and nutrition services.
Basic computer competency skills are required for this position. All Stoughton Health employees have e-mail access and many use a PC to send and retrieve work e-mail: reference internal websites, access electronic health records, and use online learning tools to remain current with continuing education requirements.
20 hours bi-weekly, Saturday and Sunday 7:30am - 12:30pm. Every other Holiday
