Position Overview:
The Production Team Member plays an essential role in the Driftless Provisions Operations
Team. Their primary responsibilities center around assisting with the production of all our
products by hanging product, organizing supplies, and ensuring a clean, sanitized work
environment. In addition, they help with packaging, routine maintenance, and product curing.
This role reports to the Production Manager. Must be able to lift 50lbs.
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist in the production of salami, smoked meats, fresh sausage and other products, as
assigned.
Assist with packaging of all products, including vacuum sealing, harvesting, and labeling,
as assigned.
Carry out food safety measures according to written HACCP and quality control
program.
Execute daily clean-up/sanitization of production space, equipment, cooler and freezer.
Assist with salami curing through regular product rotations and monitoring.
Maintain a clean work environment during production, ensuring packaging is properly
disposed of and carts or other materials are stored in cleaning bay if not sanitized.
Perform regular maintenance, such as cleaning smoker, at regularly assigned intervals.
Receive deliveries and maintain organized, sanitary storage of ingredients, as assigned.
Support a dedicated, playful team culture through clear communication, selfmanagement, and collaboration.
Other duties, as assigned.
