Position Title: Extrusion Operator
Wage: $19-26/hour
Shift: 1st
Hours: 6am-2:30pm
Join a company that has been designing and manufacturing plastic glazing products that are recognized throughout Europe for innovation, quality, and durability. Extrusion Operators are responsible to set up machinery for operation, participate in inventory, and package/stack finished good. This is an associate to hire opportunity in Janesville, WI.
Extrusion Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Set up machinery for operation
- Start machinery and adjust machinery when necessary to improve performance
- Operate machinery and equipment according to instructions
- Troubleshoot issues and perform maintenance
- Perform quality control, follow reporting and recordkeeping procedures, and report problems to supervisor
- Comply with all safety and health regulations
- Clean machinery and maintain cleanliness in work area
- Participate in physical inventory counts as needed
- Tape, package, and stack finished good
Extrusion Operator Requirements:
- Lift up to 50lbs overhead on a regular basis
- Reach above head and grasp sheeting
- Twist, reach, pull, and bend regularly
- Able to work in hot conditions
- Good visual and spatial depth perception
- Follow written and oral instructions
- Ability to work on a team
- Knowledge of tools is beneficial
