Position Title: Embroidery Operator
Wage: $15/hour
Shift: 1st
Hours: 8am-4pm
This company is a diversified sales and marketing company specializing in promotional apparel, promotional products, and advertising specialty items. They offer in-house embroidery, screen printing, heat transfer, engraving, and graphic design. Embroidery Operator will be responsible to set up embroidery machines and select thread and fabric that will be used for each job.
Embroidery Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Gather and analyze project specifications and the client’s needs
- Set up embroidery machines and adjust settings
- Select appropriate needles, threads, fabrics, and other materials to match the requested design
- Prepare garments for machine to ensure highest possible quality and output
- Sew logos, initials, and other patterns into fabric
- Read work order and count appropriate materials needed
- Maintain station clean
- Keep track of work orders and updating records
- Pack palletize and label box of product completed
Embroidery Operator Requirements:
- Lift, carry, handle, and pull merchandise that weighs between 20-30lbs frequently
- Lift, carry, handle, and pull merchandise that weighs 50lbs occasionally
- Stand for 8-10-hour shift
- Bend, twist, and reach repetitively
- Able to read and write in English
- Able to count and sort items correctly
