JOB REQUIREMENTS: POSITION SUMMARYThis position will be responsible for
delivering a portfolio of financial reporting, automation, and
analytical solutions that provides value to U.S. Energy's Finance
Department. The BI Analyst will work together with Key Stakeholders and
Data Analysts to leverage data insights, statistical techniques, and
data science to effectively identify, prioritize and create data driven
solutions. This position is located on-site in Appleton, WI. JOB
RESPONSIBILITIES Collect and analyze data to generate valuable insights
and trends Create and maintain BI dashboards and reports within the
standards and guidelines set by the organization Execute process
improvement and data driven automations tasks Effectively manage
requirements and tasks to deliver value on time, within scope and to
specification Follow and contribute towards data governance, data
stewardship, and BI documentation best practices Active participant in
business process redesigns, understanding data elements within the
framework, and identifying data stewards Work with internal process
owners and data stewards to ensure understanding and communication of
data needs and acceptance criteria's Follow quality assurance practices
to ensure high value work Identify and solve technical problems with
minor supervision Contribute towards the objectives of our data
strategic initiatives and governance Perform other related duties as
required QUALIFICATIONS 2+ years of business related experience.
Experience taking large quantities of data and transforming them into
actionable insights that are presented to a diverse audience Experience
working with PowerBI Proficiency in SQL, DAX, and data warehousing tools
such as SQL Server Management Studio MS Power Automate and Power Apps
experience a strong plus Creative problem solving and critical thinking
skills Can work both independently and collaboratively with a cross
functional team Bachelor's degree in finance, Mathematics, Statistics,
Computer Science, Economics, or similar discipline is preferred or
equivalent experience In lieu of qualifications listed above: Strong
experience in Finance, FP&A, and Liquidity Preferred: Experience within
