Animal Hospital of Wenatchee is seeking an enthusiastic and positive person to join our team as a part-time Kennel Assistant.
Animal Hospital of Wenatchee is a state of the art, full-service veterinary medical facility located in the heart of Washington State. We provide complete care from routine vaccines to advanced orthopedic surgery. Our clinic offers in-house laboratory equipment, digital x-ray, dentistry, ultrasound, as well as surgical and therapeutic lasers. We are a fun group of highly skilled individuals who encourage teammates to continue learning and growing, in a positive and supportive environment.
Candidate must have acute attention to detail, excellent communication skills, be a self-starter, and a team player. Responsibilities include maintaining a clean and safe hospital environment, aiding the Technicians, interacting and communicating with the pet owner, and the safe and compassionate handling of patients.
This position requires the ability to lift up to 40 pounds and to be active for a majority of the workday. We are open Monday – Friday, 7:30 am – 6:00 pm. Schedule may vary, must be able to work until 6:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
