Our kitchen is adding a few new Dishwasher/Prep Cook opportunities - offering competitive pay, advancement considerations, and even eligibility for benefits based on hours worked.
The Dishwasher/Prep Cook position is multifaceted - some of the duties you will be performing would include:
- Maintaining cleanliness & sanitation of cookware, dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment to help ensure safety & customer satisfaction.
- Helping to unload & store bulk food deliveries to the restaurant.
- Assist with the cleaning, sanitation and organization of the kitchen, walk-in coolers and storage areas
- Preparing meal ingredients, simple dishes, condiments, and other items as directed by senior culinary staff
- Other tasks as needed by senior culinary staff to maintain optimal back-of-house workflow.
The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 32 hours a week of shift availability including nights and weekends, and previous experience in a commercial kitchen is a plus. However, a strong work ethic & willingness to learn would be just as valuable for success in this opportunity.
