Planning Analyst

BryceTech is seeking a Planning Analyst for FEMA’s Planning and Exercise Division (PED) to support national preparedness and emergency management planning initiatives. This position plays a vital role in the development and coordination of strategic and operational plans that strengthen FEMA’s readiness to respond to disasters and emergencies across the United States.The ideal candidate has a strong background in emergency management planning, excellent analytical and communication skills, and a desire to contribute to meaningful work that enhances national resilience.Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain national, regional, and agency-specific emergency operations plans (EOPs), contingency plans, and incident annexesConduct threat and hazard risk assessments to inform planning priorities and objectivesCoordinate planning activities with FEMA regional offices, federal agencies, state and local governments, and private sector stakeholdersSupport the integration of planning efforts with FEMA exercises and after-action reporting processesEnsure alignment of plans with federal doctrine, including the National Response Framework (NRF), National Incident Management System (NIMS), and other FEMA policy guidancePrepare detailed planning documents, decision memos, and briefings for senior leadershipIdentify planning capability gaps and recommend improvements or solutions
