Engineer III (Mechanic)

The Engineer III Mechanic main responsibility is the maintenance and operations of the buildings central systems. (HVAC, AHU’S, Pumps, Motors, Hot water heaters, Chillers)RESPONSIBILITIES:Daily rounds inspecting all plant equipment; maintaining up-to-date records on efficiency of equipment. Malfunctions or repairs needs to be noted and reported to the management team. Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical equipment and guest rooms as scheduled.Accurate record log keeping on (meters, kitchen walk-in-boxes, ice machines, water fountains and fan coil unit filter changes).Appropriate response and prioritization of 15 minutes or less to all guest calls, other departments and team members requiring maintenance repairs from the Engineering department.Ensure proper storage of all hazardous chemicals adhering to OSHA Standards.Ensure the proper care and use of all Engineering equipment including all safety related procedures used when operating this equipment. This includes MSDS and loc-out/tag-out procedures.Ensure proper training of Fire and Life Safety Systems and emergency Shut-Off Valves in the hotel.Perform any additional duties as assigned.
