Find your future with us.Boeing Defense & Space (BDS) is currently looking for a Mid Level Product Lifecycle Management Engineer to join the USAF E-7A team located in Tukwila, WA .The selected candidates will join a team of PLM professionals performing a variety of PLM functions. The ideal candidates will have experience / practice in any of the following areas: coordinating hardware and software configuration baselines, change processing, data releases/control, Item Unique Identification (IUID) markings, data analysis/processing, and models / model-based systems engineering.Position Responsibilities:

Collaborates with teams in the development, analysis, management, and compliance verification of process and product baselines of complex products

Processes technically complete change packages in compliance with command media

Contributes to the development and implementation of Configuration and Data Management standards, processes, systems and tools

Assesses requirements and application of IUID markings

Processes supplier data, verifies compliance with contract requirements, and distributes to program teams

Defines and allocates Configuration and Data Management requirements for product hardware, software and engineering design data systems throughout the product lifecycle

Works with tools and systems to extract/process data for reporting and configuration accounting

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry

3+ years of related work experience

3+ years of experience as a Configuration Management & Production Integration Engineer or related engineering experience

Experience collecting, organizing, and analyzing data, then summarizing findings

Preferred Qualifications:

PLM experience on US military program

Experience working with engineering teams

Experience in working Models in Engineering and Model-Based Systems Engineering: Documentation and Analysis

Typical Education/Experience:Mid-Level (Level 3): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience).
