Description This thriving company is seeking an Accounts Receivable (A/R) professional to grow with them. The Accounts Receivable Clerk role is a permanent position in the Spokane Valley, Washington area. The ideal candidate for this position can enter, post and reconcile batches, research and resolve customer A/R issues, prepare aging reports, place billing and collection calls, maintain cash receipts journal, and update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L.How you will make an impact
Validate documents and codes
Follow standard procedures to perform basic accounting tasks, such as general accounting
Post and balance financial data in various ledgers to reconcile bank accounts
Handle monthly closings and annual reports, including processing payments and compiling segments in compliance with GAAP
Supply shippers, customers, the sales/marketing department and other stake holders with information as requested
Carry out, convey, and strengthen the mission, values and culture of the company
Contact clients to help resolve payment issues; assist in setting up payment plans

Accounts Receivable (AR) experience
Deep understanding of customer service
Collections experience required
Relevant experience in accounts receivable
ERP system experience
AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting or related field preferred
Attention to detail and ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
Strong analytical skills in basic accounts receivable and accounting policy
