Job overview: This job requires the managing of incoming and outgoing shipments of goods and materials. They also help verify and keep records of any shipments. This position requires cutting material to size as needed.
Responsibilities and duties:
Manage the shipment and receipt of all products, materials and supplies.
Promptly unload trucks and deliveries, sort and stock receivables.
Measure and cut material to sizes needed.
Help track and update the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.
Maintain a clean, neat area while working in a fast-paced environment.
Assisting in quality control of parts being shipped out.
Qualifications:
2 year experience in a shipping/receiving department or sawyer
Computer experience required.
Forklift experience preferred.
Crane and rigging experience preferred.
Clean driving record is required.
Blueprint reading experience preferred.
Must be able to operate saw, deburring tools and other hand tools.
Required to read a tape measure (metric/imperial) accurately.
Must be able to lift 50lbs on a regular basis
