Tipke Manufacturing is a growing, well established local manufacturing company that has been in business since 1965. We are a job shop specializing in the manufacturing of fabricated metal products that support a wide variety of industries.
We are looking for someone to work in our shipping and receiving department. Experience is preferred but we are willing to train interested individuals and there is room for advancement in this department for motivated individuals. Attention to detail, ability to follow instructions and good basic math and documenting skills are a must. The basic job duties are as follows:
- Cleaning, counting, and packaging parts to prepare for shipment. During these steps parts are also checked for cosmetic defects. There is some lifting involved but most all packages are less than 50# or moved with a forklift.
- Operating 6000# forklift safely to load/unload trucks and organize area as needed.
- Receiving materials in correctly and placing in the proper area.
- Driving delivery van for local deliveries and pickups. No CDL is required but we do have our drivers go through a DOT physical and check driving record. Pre-employment drug screen is also required.
- Producing pack lists and bills of lading for outgoing shipments and deliveries.
- Performing quarterly inventory counts of finished goods.
Our normal operating hours are 6am-430pm M-Th and overtime is on Fridays at times. We offer fully paid health and dental benefits, paid vacation/sick time, and paid holidays after 60 day probationary period. We also offer retirement/profit sharing plan after one year.
