3 Sons Manufacturing LLC

Local production machine shop seeking out someone who is wanting to work and learn in a production operator / machinist capacity.

This is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to TRAIN under an experienced machinist, AND/OR a position for a machinist who may already HAVE experience. We simply are looking for someone to be here and work hard.

We are a family owned CNC Production and Prototyping Machine Shop. Currently 5 employees.

We are a Haas Automation dedicated facility. Currently we have 8 vertical mills ranging from Haas's Mini Mill up to a VF4. Most of the VF series machines equipped with pallet changers for fast through put and low spindle down time.

We also have 3 Haas CNC Lathes for turning.

and manual milling stations for R&D and "Post Op" machining

We are equipped with a full QC station and stress our quality and accuracy.

At this time, we are interested in operators or machinists with some experience, and no experience. WE ARE WILLING TO TRAIN YOU. If you are simply interested in CNC manufacturing or machining in general, this position would be excellent for you. We are busy enough to employ a full time position immediately.

Skills Required:

Manual Dexterity: Be good with your hands. This is hard work, and you're handling expensive, precision pieces.

Punctuality: (We are here from 6am - 4:30 pm Mon-Thurs) You will have 3 day weekends, but plan on being up early and on time.

Willingness to Learn: Be open to train, even if you have experience in the field. Our programmers/machinists have over 30 years experience; and, our owner has 40 years experience both as a business owner and machinist in various industries. We may not do things here the way they were done at the last shop you worked at. Be open minded and adaptable.

Fitness: No matter how you slice it, you're going to be on a shop floor for 40 hours per week. Be prepared to stand / move / lift / etc. Our parts range in weight from .8 oz to 100+ lbs.

Appreciated but NOT REQUIRED:

CNC Experience: Not required. Some of the best operators we've had came to us never even seeing a machine before. Hands on experience made them more proficient by learning on the job. It can be the same for you.

CNC Programming: This is something you may be proficient in, or may need to learn. We can glean from you, or you can glean from us as necessary. Having a good brain for math will help you tremendously.

CAD/CAM: We run Fusion 360 and are MasterCAM trained programmers providing code and QC probing at our machines. This is not something we expect from you, but something that can be taught if interested.

Computer Operation and Understanding: We understand not everyone is tech savvy. However, most of our industry runs on computers now-a-days. We'll walk you through it and teach you the system we have in place. OR, maybe you have something to teach us? Knowledge is a two way street.

Long story short: Come to work. We'd love to have you and train you up in our industry. Our employees have all worked here for 10+ years. Retention and Training are our highest priority, both for your knowledge as well as our through put.

Pay is DOE, but we will be competitive for the area. Raises are annual upon assessment as we understand inflation better than most. Major Medical is available after 6 months of work.

Please contact by phone or e-mail to send over your resume or come in to interview.
