We are seeking a skilled gardener to maintain and beautify our property along the Spokane River west of town. This is job working on our farm maintaining and expanding lawns, gardens, flowers and shrubbery on our extensive grounds. Skills in growing and imagination in garden design are what we are looking for.
The successful applicant should have a "green thumb" and a love of flowers and all growing things. Knowledge of sprinkler systems would be useful as well. The position will entail mainly full time, but flexible work from spring through late fall but with copious time off in the winter months if desired. We have a greenhouse for use in starting bedding plants, shrubs and hanging baskets.
If you love plants, are easy to get along with, a self starter who can work without daily instruction (we don't hover) and would appreciate working in a beautiful place and making it better this might be the spot for you. We offer housing on the property as well as a salary for the right individual or couple. We have multiple businesses and may be able to offer additional work in other areas to a partner if this is desired.
