Looking for a fun, fast paced, mostly scratch kitchen where you can grow as a Line Cook and cook great food? Then we are looking for you! The Float House is a new waterfront (floating) restaurant is opening in April! We are a seasonal restaurant in the summer, but we have paired with Schweitzer for the winters and go up to work at Chimney Rock when the snow flies.
Candidates must have critical thinking abilities, maturity, passion, nerves of steel and mad line skills. This is a full-time opportunity with consistent high volume. Must be available nights and weekends. Wage is D.O.E. plus a shared tip pool.
The successful Line Cook candidate will have at least 1+ years in a kitchen
Must be able to stand, bend, and stoop for long periods of time
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
Self starter
Cool as a cucumber under pressure
Appreciate and promote team work
Punctual, positive and flexible
Basic butchery and basic knife skills
Able to read and sell tickets
This job will require nights and weekends
Looking to start in a kitchen? We promote from within! Start as a Dishwasher with no experience and we will train you to move up!
Starting wages for Dishwashers is $15.00 plus tips
Wages for Line Cooks are $16-$23 plus tips
Each shift includes a meal and a shift drink (21+)
