Century West Engineering Corporation is seeking full-time, temporary construction inspectors with 10 or more years of experience in an engineering inspection position in the field of airport, transportation, and/or utilities construction. Inspectors will report to senior staff in our Spokane, Washington office but may work on projects throughout the area.
Pay Range: $39.40 to $69.70 per hour, depending on experience
Duties and Responsibilities:
-Acts as an inspector for construction projects to ensure conformance to standards including:
-Making computations and field notes of distances, elevations, and angles
-Making and checking quantity estimates
-Making technical observations
-Observing and recording results of inspections
-May participate in the preparation of engineering and planning maps, drawings, and exhibits
Qualifications:
-10 or more years of experience in an engineering inspection position
-Experience inspecting municipal transportation and utilities projects during construction
-Can read and understand engineering plans and specifications
-Previous experience on airport projects is preferred but not required
