Kreider Construction is looking for a Lead Carpenter to join our team. We are a local builder who specializes in building and remodeling quality homes for the last 27 years.
We work local, with most of our jobs located on Fidalgo Island and Skagit County providing some amazing work place views.

Lead carpenter Under broad supervision of the superintendent, to be responsible for and/or lead and assign work to a crew of carpenters while practicing high level carpentry skills.
Expected Duties and Responsibilities
Oversee project crews in carpentry work required during the process of new construction, maintenance, repair, and alteration of existing buildings and structures.
Assist in the supervision/scheduling of the carpenters and laborers as directed.
Assist in the coordination of carpentry work with that of other trades.
Assist supervisor in matters deserving attention regarding carpentry work.
Assist in the preparation of material takeoffs and reports.
Be able to perform all duties of Journeyman carpenter or finish carpenter, following recognized procedures/techniques for such work, as required.
Act as supervisor in superintendents absence.
Perform related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Minimum five years carpentry experience in custom homes
High End Custom home finishing skills
Ability to lay out construction, remodeling and alteration work.
Ability to read blueprints.
Background check and valid drivers license required
