Samish Bay Cheese has been making organic farmstead cheese in Bow, Washington since 1996. We have won numerous awards for our cheeses. In our successful retail shop we sell a substantial part of our farm produced cheese, yogurt, and meat along with other complementary products. Our commitment is to producing and selling delicious and wholesome food in an environment that is engaging to work and shop in.
The Shop Manager will be the lead Cheesemonger as well as being responsible for the overall running of the shop and the encouragement and support of other retail shop employees. The job includes preparation and quality control on the food products we sell and make in the shop.
We are seeking an experienced candidate with good knowledge and great passion about cheese and organic food. The store is frequently a busy place and is best suited to someone with energy and enthusiasm who interacts well with all sorts of people.
This is a full time position, initially Thursdays to Mondays, with medical benefits and a competitive wage.
