Our practice is growing, and looking for a medical assistant or LPN to assist and be cross trained in nearly all aspects of our office. Once hired, the candidate will be extensively trained in dermatology patient care, including assisting with surgical procedures, biopsies, medical records, reception, administration duties such as tracking biopsies, phone triage, helping with referrals, and other more technical aspects of the job such as learning histotechnology for Mohs surgery and photodynamic therapy, to be discussed with prospective candidates. We perform a wide range of services including medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology such as laser and chemical peels. The most important quality for candidates, even over education or experience, is follow-through, attention to detail, and being a quick learner.
