We are a local, LTL freight carrier servicing customers between Everett and Olympia. This is a family run business that's been in Kent since 1919. Our drivers are members of local Teamsters 174.
We are looking for somone who is fully committed to a 5 day work week, reliable, responsible, and has great customer service. Typical day is 7am to 430pm.
Class A CDL preferred, although not required.
- Pay is $29.85/hr
- OT Pay (after 8 hours) is $44/78/hr
- Pension gets $6.01/hr
- Medical/Dental insurance is fully paid for you and your family
Job duties include:
Coming to work 5 days a week.
Loading your own truck/trailer each morning.
Being efficient on a forklift as well as a pallet jack.
Being efficient with your phone to use a freight delivering app.
Be able to hand off load pallets consisting of multiple items (Boxes, Stretch wrap, Shelving unit items, etc) should the customer not have a loading dock/forklift.
Be able to communicate with dispatch and customer to provide excellent customer service.
