Rail Fabricator/Craftsman
ABOUT THE POSITION
We are seeking someone who is skilled in custom steel rail fabrication with the ability to field measure, layout, cutting, fitting, welding, and finish grinding. We also would like this individual to be skilled in basic carpentry skills as we do projects that require this knowledge. You will have the ability to problem solve while working through a project as well as knowledge and ability to communicate professionally with fellow colleagues and other trades/superintendents. You will ask for help when it is needed in order to ensure quality work. Quality communication, attention to detail, ability to read shop/structural plans and ensure proper fabrication is a must.

We are a metal fabrication shop located in Marysville, WA. We are a family run operation and value the product of our work and the relationships we form. Our owner has over 20 years of experience in the Metal industry. While our shop is located in Marysville, jobs are across Snohomish and King Co. We work on Residential and mixed-use buildings.

QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to read shop drawings/architectural drawings
Ownership of general tools needed daily for work
Valid WA State Drivers license
RESPONSIBILITIES
Measure. Cutting, grinding, fabricating, welding etc of material
Read and interpret shop drawings, architectural drawings and structural plans
Ability to perform layout of small and large scale jobs
Install/weld on site
Operate forklift and assist with loading and unloading material
Operating manlifts and scissor lifts
Forward thinking when planning and completing a project
Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Ability to professionally operate company vehicle
Maintain and keep safe company tools and equipment
