Job Description:
We are an established full service Landscape Design/Build firm seeking an experienced, talented and dedicated person to oversee multiple construction projects, to mentor and guide through example, to ensure high quality and efficient production, and to help foster a positive work environment. While we are in the landscape industry, our specialty is high-end exterior construction, with strong focus on artistic and technical residential projects. We create amazing outdoor spaces, incorporating stonework, steelwork, concrete, decks and fences, shelters, and occasionally DADUs and garages, with a strong attention to detail and excellent customer service in every project.
The Operations Manager is responsible for collaborating with clients, in-house designers, and crew, as well as vendors and subcontractors. Other key responsibilities include:
-Quality control and construction training
-Manage 3-5 crews at a time
-Order materials, manage timelines and productivity, ensuring projects are completed within budget
-Oversee safety protocol and ensure safe and orderly jobsites
-Earn respect through integrity, competency and humility. Be a leader and mentor, help everyone reach their full potential, including your own.
-Foster a positive environment, and help with conflict resolution.
-Be a consistent and clear communicator, between crews, designers and clients.

Qualifications:
At least 5 years experience in all or most of the following:
-residential building/carpentry, stonework, landscape construction, irrigation/plumbing, project management
-leadership experience in managing crews and subcontractors.
-proficiency in reading and interpreting contracts, plans, and specifications.
-excellent organizational and communication skills.
-bilingual (Spanish) is a huge plus
