Carpenter 2 Job Overview

Current project in Grapeview WA 45 minutes from West Olympia. $50/day per diem

We are a general contractor committed to exceptional customer service and uncompromising quality. We focus on residential and commercial remodeling and new construction projects in the South Puget Sound region. Our areas of expertise are; Energy efficient building, project management, framing, finish carpentry, door/window and millwork installation and cabinetry installation.

Offer competitive pay dependent on experience

2 weeks paid time off/year (accrual)

Can begin redeeming at 6 months employment

Responsibilities for Carpenter 2

-Perform basic through advanced carpentry tasks.

-Work independently on jobs with minimal supervision.

-Perform work in accordance with safety best practices

-Own/Maintain tools and equipment in safe operating condition

-Maintain thorough timesheet records, and purchase receipts.

-Efficiently and effectively take off and order materials.

-Cut, shape, and alter materials as needed

-Build walls, floors, ceilings and roofs as needed.

-Measure and mark materials for alterations

Qualifications for Carpenter

-High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required

-Resume or written work experience

-Minimum of 1-10 years of general carpentry experience and completion of an apprenticeship, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience

-Must possess a valid driver's license

-Strong reading, writing, and speaking skills (in English)

-Ability to read, interpret, and follow blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics

-Comfortable using ladders and scaffolding

-Demonstrated advanced abilities to operate hand, air, and power tools

-Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly

-Cell phone with texting and camera function required

-No smoking, drug or alcohol use at work.
