We are a Seattle (Ballard) based residential and commercial general contractor who has a history of collaborating with architects, designers, and clients to achieve interesting, value-driven, and design centered construction projects.
We are looking for job site based Site Superintendents that divide time between leadership / management and carpentry. Position available immediately.
Responsibilities include:
Day-to-day management of Method staff and subcontractors to meet project schedule and budget
Planning and execution of project tasks; including resource forecasting
Escalate any time or budget issues to the Project Manager
Identify change orders and escalate to Project Manager
Attend weekly client meetings
Site surveys and take offs; material procurement
Administer job site safety protocols and hold weekly site safety meetings
Fill out and submit job progress via a Daily Log
Carpentry and other construction related tasks
Qualifications:
4+ years carpentry experience in the residential and/or commercial (restaurant) construction field
2+ years experience leading construction projects and teams
Journey-level carpentry skills
Exceptional problem solving skills
The ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
An understanding of construction processes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong leadership talents
Basic computer skills
