Civil engineering firm seeks Certified Erosion and Sediment Control Site Inspector. Current Washington Department of Ecology Certified Erosion and Sediment Control Lead (CESCL) is Required. Knowledge of the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) and Ecology’s Construction Stormwater General Permit (CSGP) is required along with basic construction principles and practices. Must be dependable and have an excellent driving record.
Duties Include:
Monitoring of construction sites throughout western Washington
Water quality testing in the field
Coordinate with project personnel to ensure mitigation measures associated with
water quality are implemented in the field
Manage documentation and data, including Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans
(SWPPP), inspection reports, project changes, equipment logs, and spill logs
Willingness and ability to work fluctuating and/or long hours as necessary. Ability to lift 25 pounds. While prioritizing health and safety, this position requires an individual who can walk and hike through varying degrees of difficult terrain. Individuals will be required to perform their job responsibilities in inclement weather conditions.
