Coyote Hollow Construction is hiring. We are a small, family-owned residential contracting firm focusing on new home construction, remodels and additions. Our office is located in Poulsbo, WA and our projects are limited to Kitsap County. We are known throughout the region for our attention to detail and commitment to client satisfaction, with a broad scope of projects and happy customers that illustrate our drive for excellence.

Coyote Hollow is currently seeking an additional carpenter (or 2) to join our team, full time and long term. The right Applicant should be experienced in all aspects of custom, high-quality residential construction, along with a background from framing to finish work. If you enjoy learning and take pride in working well with customers and other employees, then this is the place for you! Responsibilities and Duties:

All carpenter positions work up to 40 hours per week. It is expected that you are ready to work with your “bags on” at the scheduled start time. Work week is Monday through Friday.

Physical Requirements:

Applicants should be comfortable working on ladders and scaffolding, as well as with power tools and equipment. You should be in good physical condition. Working conditions include being outside in all types of weather and inside customer homes and businesses. This position will involve standing, walking, climbing, lifting and carrying, near acuity and manual dexterity. Applicable PPE (personal protection equipment) such as work boots, safety glasses, ear plugs, gloves, etc. may be required.

Desired Skills, Experience and Job Attributes:

Carpentry experience should include framing, cabinets & interior trim carpentry, as well as experience installing windows, doors and casework; exterior trim carpentry includes siding, fascia and soffits. Must embrace job site safety rules and regulations.

Personal Attributes:

Positive attitude, self-motivated with the ability to work independently, as well as part of a collective team. Conscientious and detail oriented. Reliable, with dependable transportation as well as your own hand tools (tool bag). Must have an open mind to new ways of approaching tasks, as well as the ability to share your knowledge with coworkers.
