Job Description: Seeking Boatbuilders for a 2-year boatbuilding project on Kauai. Do you love building boats? Are you a problem solver? Can you complete tasks to the highest level of quality? Do you put a lot of pride into what you do?

Responsibilities:

Perform boat-building tasks including but not limited to carpentry, painting, carbon and glass layups, vacuum bagging, fairing and sanding, wiring, gluing, and installing marine systems.

Maintain a clean, organized shop area and upkeep tools, parts, equipment, and supplies.

Comply with all safety procedures and maintain good housekeeping and safety in work areas.

Perform necessary errands.

Requirements:

Available to work flexible hours, including weekends & holidays.

Ability to work 35-40 hours per week, with overtime approval from the supervisor or manager.

Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with the provision of a driver's abstract for any out-of-state driver's license upon hire.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, drawings/blueprints, and procedure manuals.

Proficiency in English, with the ability to effectively communicate and understand verbal and written communications.

Must have a reliable means of contact, such as a cell phone.
