About the Role
The Business Development Manager plays a critical role in driving our growth in North America. In this position, you will focus on building rapport, earning trust, and closing deals with new customers. What You'll Do
Expand Sologic’s presence in the North American market by identifying and cultivating new business opportunities.
Build meaningful relationships with prospective customers by understanding their unique challenges and demonstrating how Sologic’s solutions drive measurable success.
Conduct impactful sales presentations and software demos to showcase the value of Sologic’s offerings.
Manage the full sales cycle, including coordinating requirements with Business Operations, responding to RFPs, delivering quotes, coordinating contract negotiations, closing deals, and ensuring a seamless handoff to the Account Management team for ongoing support.
Achieve North American revenue targets by consistently closing deals with new prospective customers.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Zoho CRM system, ensuring the deal pipeline, customer interactions, and contact details are well-documented.
Present bi-weekly sales forecasts to Operations and Leadership teams.
Requirements
3+ years of B2B sales experience with a proven track record of success
Excellent closing skills
Experience with consultative sales
Skilled at networking and prospecting for new business
Excellent presentation skills
Sharp negotiation skills
Ability to work independently and remotely
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel), and online collaboration tools (Zoom, MS Teams, WebEx, GoToMeeting)
Nice to have
Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
Experience in SaaS sales
Proficiency in CRM systems, ideally Zoho One
Previous sales experience within energy, petrochemical, manufacturing, IT, aerospace, pharmaceutical, and/or food and beverage industries
