We are looking for a highly organized production coordinator to assist our service advisors in parts procurement, estimate writing, phone skills and appointment setting. This role is vital to the success of many positions and lends itself to other opportunities within the company as we grow.

To be successful as a production coordinator, you must be able to multitask, oversee several operations at a time, and have excellent time management and interpersonal skills. Being a team player is a must as you will need to substitute as service advisor when needed. In order to maintain our company’s standards for ethical business practices, we thrive for professionalism including appearance, demeanor, organized, up-to-date practices and communication.

We feel that a current automotive parts countermen would poses the necessary skill set to be great at this position. We are looking for someone who could be a service advisor down the road.

Service Advisor Qualifications & Skills

Two years’ experience as Service Advisor or Automotive Parts Counterman in the automotive industry is desired but not necessary. Experience with parts management and back shop parts counter at a dealership is a plus.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Able to keyboard 40+ words per minute.

Able to operate photocopiers, calculators, and related business equipment.

Possess a valid state driver’s license.

Professional appearance and work ethic.

Able to work 8-9 hours/day.

Able to lift 40 pounds.

Strong organizational, decision making, and problem-solving skills.

Possess a basic understanding of the mechanical functions of an automobile.

Ability to speak tactfully under pressure.

Ability to make decisions and solve problems.

Possess good verbal and written communication skills.

Be dependable and reliable.

Be persuasive and enthusiastic.

Possess good listening skills.
