A client of ours at Robert Half is looking for a Network Engineer that is within a commutable distance to their Rochester, WA location. This will be a hybrid position with the ability to have up to 2 remote/work from home days out of the week. They have a fairly small and very collaborative IT shop and are looking for their next great addition!
Duration: FTE, Direct-Hire
Schedule: Monday-Friday working Pacific Standard Time Zone (8-5pm)
Job Responsibilities:
Administering and managing the computer networks and associated environments of the company, encompassing systems software, applications software, hardware, wireless infrastructure, and configurations.
Configuring and overseeing firewalls and additional network security apparatus.
Deploying and sustaining enterprise-level security solutions, including firewalls and VPNs.
Ensuring the safeguarding of data, software, and hardware through the coordination, planning, and implementation of network security measures.
Identifying, diagnosing, and resolving hardware, software, and other network and system issues.
Replacing defective network hardware components when necessary.
Monitoring network performance to identify potential adjustments.
Job Requirements:
Flexible on years of experience
Experience with firewalls, switches, routers, wireless including configuration
In depth understanding of the OSI Model
Ability to create and map accurate network diagrams
Very light Network design, prior experience would be beneficial
Pay Range: $85k - $100k
