Gray & Gray Home is an upscale antique shop in Madison Park. Our customers love the neighborhood feel of our store and our team works to build and foster direct client relationships. As we are a small business, everyone wears lots of hats and jumps in on tasks big and small. We want our customers to have a great experience while visiting our shop and be greeted by friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Summary:
Part Time Antique Shop Keeper will oversee the daily operations of the shop, including opening and closing duties, merchandising, light cleaning, sales, and customer service. We are looking for 3 days a week, can be somewhat flexible on those days and times.
Essential Duties:
Standard open and closing store procedures.
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the store’s eclectic inventory in order to best assist customers with their needs.
Process transactions at point of sale, including accurate identification of sale prices, recording of costs, and cash handling.
Assist with in-store merchandising as needed.
Assist with cleaning inventory, displays, surfaces, etc. as necessary.
Ensure that the store maintains a clean and engaging appearance.

Skills & Experience:
Prior experience working in a vintage or antique store is a plus.
3+ years of customer service experience; higher volume retail environment is preferred.
Job Requirements
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must be a self-starter.
Basic math skills are required, including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing.
Intrigue and passion for interiors, antiques and vintage items.
Working Conditions:
