Sweetie’s Candy is seeking a friendly, enthusiastic associate who cares about their customers, and is passionate about all things sweet
The position is in:
Sweetie’s Candy at Pike Place Market (Store# 435)
Store Hours:
10am to 5pm
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Provide great service and experience for our guests of all ages
Drive sales through engagement of guests, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge
Process sales through our POS system
Maintain store appearances and cleanliness
Assist with inventory, including product receiving/stocking/ordering
Observe and practice safety at all times
Be a Sweetie all the time
Qualifications:
Previous retail experience preferred
Speak multiple languages is a HUGE PLUS
Have good Hygiene – You represent yourself and Sweetie’s Candy to visitors and locals
Able to count a tilt
Great communication skills - You love working with people
You can roll up your sleeves and do whatever it takes to get the job done
Attention to detail - little things can make all the difference
The ability to multitask - you will wear many hats throughout you work day
A positive attitude and fun-loving spirit
Flexible Schedule is a plus (We close for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years.)
Physically able to perform the essential functions of the job, including: packing candy, stocking shelves, ringing sales, standing for most of the shift, and lifting up to 25 pounds
