C&E Developments, a small, family owned, construction company, is seeking a reliable & organized office manager to join our team. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support directly to the owners of the company as well as assist in managing their rental properties.

About us – In 2005 two brothers, Eric and Casey, started C&E Developments, eager to learn what it took to run a company and build houses from the ground up. Back then, it was just the two of them, building two to three houses a year. Today, they have added to their team and exponentially increased how many houses they build in a year. Eric and Casey are still very much involved in their business and are right alongside their employees, working to make peoples dream homes a reality.

What we’re looking for – Someone who is hard working, organized and can bring a positive attitude to the work environment. We are looking for someone who has Quickbooks experience as well as strong written and verbal communication skills. We ask that you have the ability to multitask in an organized and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will also have the ability to be self-sufficient with strong time management skills. US work authorization and High School diploma (or equivalent) are also required.

Responsibilities:

- Management of company finances through Desktop Quickbooks Premier Contractor, including estimating, accounts receivables & payables.

- Payroll

- Cash Flow

- Assisting accountant in preparation for year-end taxes

- Minor property management of rental units, including listing units when available, drafting lease agreements, reviewing applications & entering payments into Quickbooks monthly

Communication:

- Handle incoming phone calls, emails and rare office visits in a professional and appropriate manner

Record Keeping:

- Maintain up-to-date records related to ongoing projects, rental income and availability & property status.

- Assist with financial tasks, such as billing & recording invoices

Previous experience in an administrative role is preferred, ideally in construction, however, candidates with preferred attributes & willingness to learn will be considered.
