Position Summary:

We are seeking a Community Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our 197-space manufactured home community. This unique role is ideal for someone who is passionate about fostering a sense of community, has a strong background in property management, is willing to work hard, and is committed to delivering excellent customer service. As a Community Manager, you will ensure the smooth operation, financial stability, and overall success of the community.

Administrative Responsibilities:

Manage all onsite aspects of property operations, including tenant relations, lease administration and financial reporting.

Handle leasing inquiries and manage the application process.

Address resident concerns and resolve issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.

Coordinate with maintenance staff and contractors to ensure timely repairs and upkeep of the property.

Oversee rent collections and expense control to ensure financial performance.

Organize and promote community events to build a positive atmosphere among residents.

Ensure compliance with property management regulations and fair housing laws.

Periodically assist with preparing new manufactured homes for occupancy, by obtaining bids for work to be performed, and showing homes for sale.

Maintenance Responsibilities:

Hire and oversee hired landscapers to ensure our common area grounds are well maintained.

Monitor 2 onsite sewer lift stations daily, and ire and oversee hired contractors to maintain the operation of sewer lift stations, ensuring proper functionality and addressing any issues promptly.

Hire and oversee a pool maintenance contractor for the outdoor seasonal pool.

Ensure timely repairs of buildings, irrigation systems, fencing, entryways, playground, RV storage areas, parking lots, and other community amenities.

Conduct regular property inspections to ensure all areas are well-maintained and identify any areas requiring attention.

Qualifications:

Experience in property management, building maintenance, real estate, or related fields.

Problem solving and good decision making skills are a must.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

Familiarity with property management software and financial reporting.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Knowledge of local housing regulations and best practices in property management.

Benefits:

Annual salary of $45,000.

An onsite 3-bedroom manager home, with water, sewer, garbage and electricity, is provided.
