This is a FT position working onsite, M-F between 8am and 5pm.
Olympic Color Rods was established in 1987 to supply the burgeoning glassblowing community with glassblowing color and tools. With an emphasis on customer satisfaction, OCR has grown to become the largest supplier of glassblowing materials in North America.
OCR is looking for an Administrative Assistant to work onsite out of our retail/warehouse location. This position will support with the Operations Manager, Sales Manager and Accounting Administrator with various tasks including:
Represent OCR as first impression to all incoming calls and visiting customers
Welcome on-site visitors
Answer the phone and redirect to the appropriate departments
Administer the gift card process and issue cards as ordered
Upload product photos to the company website
Distribute mail and packages
Maintain office organization and supply inventories
Provide back-up support for incoming Sales calls
Perform data entry for all departments as needed
Provide administrative support to all departments as needed
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Excellent communication skills and a friendly, positive attitude that helps build relationships.
Proven ability to manage and oversee multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
Ability to work in a dynamic, growing organization, with a willingness to learn and adapt to change.
Proficiency in MS Office and software applications.
Willingness to partner and solve problems cross-departmentally.
Proven self-starter; able to initiate/suggest and follow through on projects and tasks with strong attention to detail
Ability to multitask and prioritize on a daily and moment-to-moment basis
Hours: Monday through Friday, 8a to 5p
Pay: $20/hr – $25/hr depending on experience
