QUALITEL PROFILE:

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

QA INSPECTOR I: Ensure paperwork is accurate (i.e. travelers, prints, Bill of Material, etc.) and of current revision. Visually examine assembly using halo lamp or other appropriate Inspection Aids for conformance to specifications (i.e. IPC-610, J-STD-001 or customer specifications). Successfully complete J-Std. Training and IPC-A-610 Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies Training. Document results of inspection on log sheets. Observe product as it is being assembled and verify key process points consistent with Standard Operating Procedures.

QA INSPECTOR II: In addition to the above duties, performs other Quality Assurance and Manufacturing support duties to include most or all of the following: Perform prototype inspections. Meet requirements of Assembler II (Skills Matrix). Assist the Document Control/Quality System department as needed in the processing of documents that support the needs of manufacturing (i.e. Manufacturing Aids, Bill of Materials, ECO's, etc.). Perform periodic equipment/systems checks (i.e. Static Sensor, ESD Grounding, Wrist Straps & Tester, etc.). Perform maintenance of the Calibration System and of the SPC charts.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Post High School Technical training and certificate required, or a minimum of 1 year for Inspector I and 2 years for Inspector II related job experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with co-workers and engineering and management staff.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts such as Algebra level I. Ability to apply mathematical operations to dimensional inspection tasks.

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

BENEFITS:

Salary range: $19/hr to $28/hr, plus overtime as needed

Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge, skills, and experience

Monday – Friday: 6:00am – 2:30pm or 3:00pm – 11:30pm
