Madden Industrial Craftsmen, a premier staffing firm, is currently seeking a dedicated Industrial Maintenance Technician for one of our clients in Puyallup, WA.

Position Summary

The Industrial Maintenance Technician IV is responsible for performing routine maintenance and timely repairs in the manufacturing facility. This role demands a high level of precision and attention to safety, ensuring that all machinery and tooling functions smoothly and reliably.

2 Shifts Available

Monday to Thursday, 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM

Friday to Saturday, 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Perform repairs and replace defective equipment parts, reassembling equipment as necessary.

Conduct routine and preventative maintenance to prevent equipment failures and facility deterioration.

Inspect mechanical systems, such as drives and motors, replace filters, and conduct lubrication routines.

Utilize a variety of hand and power tools, as well as electronic diagnostic devices, to diagnose and fix mechanical issues.

Assemble, install, and repair various electrical and plumbing systems.

Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and associated costs.

Ensure all work complies with safety standards and report any safety issues to management immediately.

Position Requirements

Proven ability to handle various maintenance tasks, prioritizing safety and operational efficiency.

Must pass a background check and drug screening prior to employment.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required; further technical training or certification preferred.

At least three years of experience in a maintenance role, preferably in an aerospace or manufacturing environment.

Practical experience with aerospace materials such as Aluminum, Steel, Titanium, and Inconel is advantageous.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Basic proficiency with computers and typical office software.

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Effective communication skills, capable of working independently or as part of a team.
