Madden Industrial Craftsmen is a leading staffing firm that specializes in connecting skilled professionals with meaningful employment in the manufacturing sector. We are currently seeking a skilled CNC Machinist IV for a role in Puyallup, WA.

Our client is a prominent aerospace manufacturer known for its advanced machining and complex assembly of mission-critical components. They work with a variety of materials, including Aluminum, Steel, Titanium, and Inconel, and are recognized for their innovative approaches and commitment to excellence.

2 shifts available:

Monday to Thursday, 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM

Friday to Saturday, 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM

Position Summary

The CNC Machinist IV will set up and operate various machine tools to produce precision parts. The role requires maintaining a safe, clean work environment and involves detailed setup, inspection, and operation of 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis CNC machines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Operate CNC machines, milling machines, lathes, and end mills to manufacture parts primarily from Inconel and titanium.

Perform precise setup of machines using instruments such as gauges, calipers, indicators, and micrometers.

Maintain part specifications by observing operations, troubleshooting processes, adjusting and reprogramming controls, and replacing worn tools.

Develop fixtures for machining processes and validate part specifications using hard layout techniques.

Ensure adherence to quality assurance protocols and process controls.

Position Requirements

High school diploma or GED; additional technical training or apprenticeship in machining preferred.

Minimum of 3 years experience in CNC milling, with aerospace manufacturing experience highly advantageous.

Proven ability to work with high-strength metals such as Inconel and titanium.

Familiarity with shop operations, tooling, and planning.

Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Basic computer skills and proficiency in related software.

Strong ability to read, write, and understand English.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
