GRAPHIC DESIGNER FOR SIGN COMPANY
Well established local sign company looking to add to our graphic design team. We work directly with many of the largest homebuilders and real estate companies in the country. We are a digital print shop that creates a wide assortment of signs while ensuring fast turnaround times, a quality product and excellent customer service. Position is full time, Monday-Friday.
The Successful Candidate:
-Ability to communicate professionally with customers in person, over the phone and through email.
-Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently, and collaborate as a team, in a fast-paced work environment.
-Excellent organizational skills are a must with the ability to handle multiple jobs and tasks at once. Must be able to prioritize projects to meet tight customer deadlines.
-The designer must demonstrate a high attention to detail. We work with many large branded companies, and strive to successfully maintain their design standards.
-Strong skills in font layout, full color vector graphics, and designing with building/production in mind.
Position Details:
-Our company uses primarily Flexi Sign software along with Illustrator and some Photoshop. Training on Flexi Sign will be provided by our Lead Graphic Designer.
-Setting up customer proofs for approval and print/router/plotter vector files for production.
-Our shop operates on PC Computers. Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred.
-Creating full-color graphics that can be easily produced on various materials and machines.
-Maintain and organize well labeled graphics files for current and future use.
-Provide front office backup support with tasks such as processing payments, answering calls, and helping walk in customers.
-Ability to communicate all aspects of job details efficiently with customers, office and the entire production staff.
Preferred Requirements:
-Graphic Design degree with an associates degree or higher
-Minimum of 2-3 years of graphic design experience, although strong portfolios will be considered.
-Previous sign and/or print shop experience is a plus.

Compensation:
-Starting at $40K-$50K/year DOE
