The Marketing Assistant provides support to the Marketing Director and members of the marketing and sales staff. Builds awareness by developing and executing marketing strategies to meet consumer needs – and maximize profits.
SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Additionally some evenings and weekends may be necessary
Hours fluctuate based on business needs

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide support to the marketing department.
Work with marketing team to manage brand and marketing initiatives.
Create reports on sales and marketing performance using Excel and Google Sheets.
Assist in maintaining schedules for marketing initiatives.
Assist with social media and website content.
Database management (CRM)
Lead generation management.
Outreach management (advertising and promotion lead aggregator .
Online advertising management
Attend some trade shows, company events.
Organize and manage marketing collateral.
Clerical duties and data entry.
Ability to set and confirm appointments when telemarketing staff needs assistance.
Event Management
o Correspondence with event vendors
o Planning and payment of events
o Scheduling personnel
o Future outreach of upcoming events
o Inventory “swag” tracking
Other duties as assigned.
LEVEL OF SUPERVISION:
None.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
1-3 years’ experience in marketing or equivalent education.
EDUCATION/LICENSES/ERTIFICATION/FORMAL TRAINING:
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Associate or bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field, a plus.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ESSENTIAL ABILITIES:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word).
Demonstrated experience with social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest).
Familiarity with social media, social networking, email marketing and search engines.
Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere) a plus.
Digital photography and video editing experience a plus.
Industry experience a plus.
Appointment setting experience a plus.
Excellent phone skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Comfort with multi-tasking in a deadline driven environment.
Willingness and ability to travel.
Reliable transportation required.
