Are you looking for a flexible job in Family Law? We are a remote and technology forward firm offering a friendly and collaborative working environment. Our boutique style firm is rapidly growing and is in need of a Family Law attorney with a minimum of 2 years of family law experience, strong research and writing skills, as well as practical knowledge in Family Law. This candidate should be able to serve clients throughout King, Snohomish, Kitsap and Pierce counties and have a working knowledge of current court operations. We are looking for a highly motivated attorney who has the ability to exceed client expectations by providing exceptional legal services. In this role, you will negotiate and resolve complex family law issues. The workload is varied and challenging and will include document drafting, court appearances, and frequent contact with clients. This is a contract position.

Qualifications include:

· Ability to work independently in a remote setting

· Membership and good standing with the Washington State Bar Association with no prior disciplinary action

· Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school

· Ability to work with clients in emotionally stressful situations

· Ability to collaborate with attorneys and staff

· Working knowledge of court rules (including King and Snohomish County e-filing, e-service and working copies procedure)

· Case Management

· Drafting pleadings and preparing state forms in various proceedings (dissolution/legal separation, paternity, support modification, DVPO, etc.)

· Drafting and serving discovery materials (interrogatories and requests for production, subpoenas, deposition setup, etc.)

· Drafting and preparing trial materials (witness lists, exhibit lists, joint statements of evidence, etc.)

· Working with clients to obtain necessary documentation to complete discovery requests and satisfy financial source document rules

· Organizing and managing files, documents, and exhibits

· Scheduling and meeting deadlines for Family Law case schedules

· Familiarity with PracticePanther or practice management/calendaring software (or the ability to quickly learn new software)

· Familiarity with G-Suite or other email software

· High proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe
