Resident Maintenance & Housekeeping Manager-
About the Role: Flexible part-time role in a friendly condominium community. We are seeking a dependable individual to join our 22-unit building on Queen Anne as a Resident Maintenance & Housekeeping Manager. This person will perform light maintenance tasks, vendor coordination, security tasks, administrative duties, and housekeeping tasks.
Responsibilities:
Perform light maintenance tasks (lubricate garage doors, adjust timers, test batteries, change light bulbs)
Collect vendor bids for various projects
Schedule and coordinate with vendors for various maintenance work
Housekeeping and cleaning duties on a daily, weekly, and monthly schedule
Walk the interior of the property to ensure doors and windows are secure
Handle emergencies as needed
Alert Board member to minor resident infractions
Maintain resident contact information lists and other administrative tasks
NO responsibilities for advertising or screening rental tenants
Requirements:
No heavy lifting
Basic computer skills – required to have a personal computer
Well-organized self-starter who can anticipate problems and work without supervision; good communication skills.
Must live in the building (recently remodeled, unfurnished 2-bedroom, 1-bath apartment with balcony provided)
Willing to learn new tasks as needed
Small dog or cat permitted with payment of pet fee
Damage deposit required
Schedule and Compensation:
Approximately 20 hours per week – most of the work is done during weekdays.
Apartment provided has a rent value of approximately $2500 per month; excellent access to public transportation.
Water, sewer and garbage are paid by the Condominium Association – electricity is paid by the Manager; free internet available
No paid benefits or additional compensation.
